Brad Emanuel

Brad Emanuel joined the Board of Directors of the Young Leadership Division of JUF in June of 2010. He is currently serving his fourth year on the YLD Board. Brad works in the real estate investment industry as a principal at ATI Capital in Highland Park. He previously served in a management role in the retail furniture industry.

Current assignments include the Mensches in Motion, Big Event Strategic Plan, Executive Committee, and Tribefest. The wildly successful Mensches in Motion volunteer program  connects community volunteers through six volunteer sessions where participants learn about JUF supported agencies through hands-on volunteering while making a real difference in the Chicago community.

In his third year on the board, Brad held the position of Executive Vice President. As EVP, Brad was editor in chief of the first-ever YLD board newsletter, The Kibbitz, which consisted of nine issues circulated to the YLD board on a monthly basis. In addition, Brad established “Project Binder” ensuring that each board member had an organized method for all YLD board materials. Other assignments included: Board Activities, Social Media, Big Event Logistics, and the Israel Trip Post Program. Brad was voted by the YLD board as the 2012-2013 winner of the “YLD Leader Among Leaders Award”.

Previous accomplishments on the YLD Board include co-chairing the 2011 YLD Trip to Israel in the summer of 2011, as well as the creation and implementation of the Israel Trip Post Program. This initiative focused on providing meaningful events for trip alumni in key areas of education, fundraising, and volunteering intended to keep this group engaged with YLD.

Brad received a Masters in Business Administration with a concentration in real estate finance and investment from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in international relations with an emphasis on international political economy and policy studies.

In his spare time, Brad enjoys playing golf, as well as following the Bears, Badgers, and Dodgers. Brad is originally from Highland Park, Illinois, and currently resides in Chicago.
