Ben Platt is currently making his Broadway debut starring in The Book of Mormon, the blockbuster musical from South Park creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone. Platt comes to the Broadway company after originating the role of Elder Cunningham to critical acclaim in the show's Chicago production (BroadwayWorld Chicago Award- Best Actor in a Touring Production). Platt made his onscreen debut last fall as Benji Applebaum in Universal Pictures' smash hit Pitch Perfect (dir. Jason Moore, Teen Choice Award Nomination "Movie Scene Stealer").
