Ben-Ari Boukai is an alumnus of the Jewish Agency for Israel’s inaugural Project T.E.N cohort in Gondar, Ethiopia. By bringing an international group of young adults to vulnerable areas for three months, the program seeks to connect service with Jewish values discovery. Along with a team of five, Ben-Ari was responsible for planning and running a day camp for 51 former ‘street children’ being cared for by the Yenege Tesfa (“Hope for Tomorrow”) NGO.
