Ari Ackerman is currently the Founder & CEO of, a technology company which allows parents a one way communication tool for parents of summer campers.  At Bunk1, Ari is responsible for the company’s growth, strategic development, and overall management.  Bunk1 has been fortunate enough to have been featured in dozens of media outlets including CNN, the Today Show, the New York Times, and Wall Street Journal.    He graduated with honors from the J.L. Kellogg graduate School of management and received his undergraduate degree at Duke University.  Prior to Bunk1, his career has included product management with Procter & Gamble and the marketing department of Cendant Corporation.  Additionally, he worked for 4 years on Capitol Hill for a member of Congress and on the Banking and Financial Services Committee.  Ackerman also serves on the boards of the JCRC, AIPAC, the American Camp Association, and is a founder of the Soho Synagogue.
